  • Make sure to clip nails down and buff out the shine of your actual nail. Buffing the shine off will create a better grip between the press-on and glue.
  • If you have nail polish on or leftover acrylic, remove that before applying the nail.
  • Push cuticles back. You don’t want the press on to stick on top of the cuticle. It will pop off and the key is to removal all cuticle from the nail plate.
  • Make sure you have the right size. If the press on is too big or too small, it is more likely to pop off. Please take the time to measure your nails or order a sizing KIT.

  • Know your lifestyle. If you are used to wearing long nails, you know what you can and can’t do such as typing. Pick the right length for your lifestyle.
  • Having long nails can be challenging if you don’t typically wear them. Take precautions when getting dressed, lifting objects, or doing daily activities. You don’t want to put a lot of pressure on the nail itself.
  • After applying glue, allow it to dry completely before you move on to the next nail.
  • Glue will stay on longer than adhesive tabs however, adhesive tabs are great for the weekend, a special event or for people whose employment requires no nail enhancements such as nursing. It has been reported that wear of up to a week is successful with proper nail preparation.
  • Avoid soaking your hands in water regularly, example: Hot Baths. Obviously, you can get them wet but soaking in very hot water continuously may cause the glue to break down. If you can, wear gloves while doing dishes too.
  • If you are a nail picker and end up picking off all your nails, you CAN reuse them. Just make sure you don’t damage them, and you can glue them back on once the glue on the inside is filed off and cleansed. However, it is NOT recommended you pop your nails off.
  • If you choose to soak your hands in hot water to remove them, they will be reusable. If you use acetone and water, it may ruin the paint or gems.
  • Best tip of all: Keep glue with you JUST IN CASE of emergencies.
  • Do not rush preparation & application, this will result in nails falling off.
  • Start application on dominant hand, pinky finger first. This will allow you to pick up press on nails as you continue to apply and give you better control.
  • The best time to apply nails is at night-time before bed. It gives the glue time to completely dry and adhere to the nail plate.
  • If applying in the daytime keep away from water for at least 3 hours as lots of water contact will result in the glue losing strength.
  • Treat nails with care and do not use as tools to open products.
  • Do not pull off your press on nails, soak them to remove. Pulling off damages the nails plate. Please read removal instructions supplied.
